Farecast.com fairs Pretty Cool

June 25th, 2006

In May I went to a TechCrunch Seattle Party sponsored by Redfin and Farecast.com among others. I signed up for a private beta invite for Farecast.com and have not used it until today. I am really impressed and find it to be very helpful. I promptly added it to my del.icio.us acct. Their site acts similar to Kayak.com by displaying all online airline reservation prices but the beauty of Farecast is that it tells you whether or not the fares will rise or fall over the next seven days. It then gives a quick tip whether or not to buy now or wait with a percentage of how confident they are in giving that advice. Check it out when they are live.

Blogosphere Rants

June 15th, 2006

I find it very funny when people feel the need to rant on about someone else’s post. These particular people will throw as many punches as possible to let the author of the post know how stupid they should feel for writing the thing in the first place. With all this new on traffic on the web I think road rage has just taken a turn on the cyber circuit.
